It is. Lots of random shows you would never guess film/filmed there, especially Netflix shows seemingly. Walking Dead filmed there. Stranger Things films there. Vampire Diaries. Red Band Society. Rectify. Then all the shows you know about, including loads of reality TV. Also, in terms of movies, The Hunger Games and Divergent both filmed in Atlanta, as well as others. It’s a big industry there due to lucrative tax incentives the state provides. |
