Lee, NH and Lee, NY and Lee Massachusetts all racist they need to change

Spike Lee is obviously racist
Bruce lee though dead he is clearly racist
Stan Lee a racist comic book writer, again dead but who cares he must change his name

All Lees are Racist and must change their names immediately. Change.org will see to this

Leeks are racist vegetables
Leechs are parasitic predatory racist worms

all racist and they must change their names

is this Mr. KL again? it's gotta be. can you please just explain why you are unwilling to change the name? btw given your previous list of examples, i'm not sure if you're smart enough for this. you're probably trying to be funny, but this is a big boy and big girl conversation and you're just not able to hang, i'm sorry.

Oh this is a big boy conversation. Sounds very serious. Where was your concern 6 months ago, 6 years ago? You didnt have any concern did you. Why dont you go spray paint a monument and help tear it down. Get over yourself joker

It's really quite evident that none of you are able to defend the position of keeping "Lee" in "Lee Mount Vernon". You just keep changing the topic.

I would like to remove the name of "Lee" from "Lee Mount Vernon Sports Club", solely for the reason that Robert E. Lee was the Commander for the Confederate Army. Can any of you please defend the position of keeping "Lee" in "Lee Mount Vernon Sports Club". You don't need to keep replying to your own comment, please be a grown up and respond to mine.

It’s pretty obvious the club won’t do the right thing.

What remains to be seen is whether families will actually be anti-racist and leave the club over the name change.

Why do you say it's pretty obvious they won't do the right thing? Have you discussed this with them? Are you now saying the club is racist because of the name they have had for a long time? I agree that it could be changed but to pin the club as being racist because of the name is a bit ridiculous. You are clearly not aware of the diversity within the club. Families, players, coaches, staff, all diverse. Due to this diversity they probably would be open to the conversation. Some of this negativity is absurd.

OP is acting as a little schoolyard bully.

Discuss with arguments and persuade others, or stfu.

Because the Executive Director is also a Coach, and I've seen what happens when you get on the wrong side. Anonymity is sometimes helpful because you can at least gauge the environment. To be fair, it seems like some people are for a name change but most aren't, and to be very fair, some of the ones that aren't for a name change have been pretty rude about it. That alone would be reason enough for me to find a different club had DD not already graduated.

Nah, I think most are ok with changing the name. One or two keeping stating nonsense to make it like more are against it. Maybe those few aren't even with the club. It wouldn't shock me.

So, your animosity toward the ED is at the root of your trolling, and you're not even (allegedly) a member of the club any more. Got it.

The club self-identifies with Richard Henry Lee. There, fixed it. Now you can sleep at night.

Thanks, and now what about the rest of us that are in the club, don't like the name, and yeah totally afraid the executive direct/academy coach/squad coach might act negatively against us?

It would do the club better remove the "Lula" from the club rater than the "Lee"
Anonymous
rename it to Pol Pot because it sounds tough! Maybe Hairy Vag would be better?

Why do people like you keep applying 2020 beliefs to the past? It is a fact, slavery was accepted at the time and in some parts world it is still accepted, keeping in mind slavery is not limited to blacks.

Thank you for taking the time to not be able to actually argue for the position of keeping the name "Lee" in "Lee Mount Vernon Sports Club". Why can't LMVSC just become MVSC? Or Gum Springs Sports Club? Or Rose Hill Sports Club? Or Rte 1 Sports Club? Why does LMVSC have to be Lee Mount Vernon Sports Club?

I mean Lee was only a traitor and he lost. Why is he honored at all?

Probably because (and this is just me speaking here) they don't care.
