What do you think of the new Young House Love house in FL?

Do you really think they'll upsize? I feel like they went so defensively hard on how excited they were to downsize and how it's FINE and they LOVE IT, reversing course would mean a big "we were wrong" and/or a big "we know you know we only did it for the content."

Absolutely, they reverse course all the time and pretend they never said otherwise. When your only Christmas tree is in your bedroom next to the candle filled non-working fireplace because there is nowhere else to put it, your house isn’t working for you. And their kids will need more than closets for bedrooms as they become older. Downsizing isn’t really Sheri’s thing, she keeps adding more furniture to that house than it can take.

Okay, I laughed just reading your post. You're hilarious!

They moved right as the pandemic hit, so the kids probably don't have many friends yet, but once they do, they won't have all that much room to socialize. I know they have the outdoors, but what about slumber parties? They will definitely need more space when the kids hit tween/teen years.
