I have to admit that I do wish the MPD would arrest arsonists and vandals in these protests. Perhaps they don't for the same reason they don't try and arrest the dirt bike riders? It would cause more havoc overall? |
Arresting people causing havoc causes havoc? |
| Most of those looting and arrested for looting in DC are black. Do they loot after some white anarchist dude broke a window? Possibly. Most of the people entering the stores and trying to cart away merchandise, however, are not white. |
| Yes, they are over DCUM right now. Like they just found it. |
There is a group of people who break windows to break windows, and there is a group of people who break windows to loot. They are both taking advantage of the unrest they are both contributing to--not sure they are working in total collusion yet. Not sure antifa helpfully breaks a window and then says "after-you" to a looter to step in and steal |
It's an emergent symbiotic relationship. These antifa people are really pissing me off. I hope they get arrested and jailed for a long time. |
Why? I totally agree with PP. I never in all my life I would see something as disgusting in the USA. This is the kind of thing I see the world over in countries with military dictatorships. He had TEAR GAS fired into PEACEFUL protestors so he could cross the street to make a statement for a photo op. HOW DOES THIS SEEM OKAY WITH YOU? HOW IS THIS NOT THE MOST UNAMERICAN THING YOU'VE EVER SEEN? I dare you to replace Trump with ANY democratic President, or even politiican in this scenario and tell me it would be okay. Its beyond disgusting and as unAmerican as anything I've ever seen. |
The park police released a statement detailing the violence that was being directed towards them previous. |
WTOP has a reporter on site when this went down and their statement doesn’t match what he saw. He was live on the air when it happened. At this point I’ll trust him over the park police. |

Sure. they don't seem biased at all.... |
WTOP confirmed that there was no tear gas used. They said that the smoke agent was assumed to be tear gas, however, it was smoke and pepper spray. |
No, WTOP reported that US Park Police said that US Park Police did not use tear gas. |
