I think it would be if the decent police who still mean well and aren't the ones in Those Videos would go focus on being very aggressive about arresting every single looters involved with looting a couple of particular stores in, say, five cities.

Really interrogate those people really well, and go through their computers and phones as if they were mass shooters. Try to figure out if they're really independent, if they're groups of ordinary bad friends, if they're gang members, if they're organizing themselves through 8chan, or if some foreign or domestic entity hired them to cause trouble.

I have to admit that I do wish the MPD would arrest arsonists and vandals in these protests. Perhaps they don't for the same reason they don't try and arrest the dirt bike riders? It would cause more havoc overall?

Most of those looting and arrested for looting in DC are black. Do they loot after some white anarchist dude broke a window? Possibly. Most of the people entering the stores and trying to cart away merchandise, however, are not white.

There is a group of people who break windows to break windows, and there is a group of people who break windows to loot. They are both taking advantage of the unrest they are both contributing to--not sure they are working in total collusion yet. Not sure antifa helpfully breaks a window and then says "after-you" to a looter to step in and steal

WTOP confirmed that there was no tear gas used. They said that the smoke agent was assumed to be tear gas, however, it was smoke and pepper spray.
