Compare it to a hideous newer place like below...

I loved the previous house and I love this house too. I think once there is proper landscaping and the trees grow out this will become even more beautiful. I love the multilevel terrace/deck in the back. I am ok with rich and luxurious interiors, having travelled in Europe and Asia a lot. The only thing I can think of is that it will require a good sized staff for the upkeep of these two houses.

Was there an elevator in this house? Lovely.

This. And i assume whoever buys this will be someone who can afford a major refresh/ update to the property, rather than someone who’s barely scraping together a 20% downpayment.

Do a few of you want to pool resources and buy this house with me?

I love it too. I love the basement. I want to know what room is behind that massage parlor sign?

It's a lot of mauve. But it's gorgeous house, with good lines and quality - a decorating update and it would be perfectly fine.

I do agree the kitchen isn't as grand as you might expect. I'd think there would be a chef's kitchen. But this house feels very livable. The pool house is awesome, and the second house is great too.

Wish I had $5M laying around (to decorate, too!) - maybe more to buy the extra 2 acres, put in driveway, etc.

The DCUM people are new build paint it gray type folks.
I appreciate these homes way more that a big bland box quickly thrown up in the site of a cute rambler that was torn down.

A huge house the basement is ment to be fun or even funky. You don’t need the space. I love what he did.

There is a house on river road that is like 15,000 square feet for sale with a walk in basement, turned whole think into a garage for car collection and man cave. Really cool. That house 10,000 square feet upstairs so the basement is to go wild

So the photo in the bathroom lets us all know who owns this house. Shouldn’t the realtor have blurred or taken that down? I’ve seen a lot of kids’ and family photos blurred in listings, too.

What are you so worried about? State of Maryland property records showed me who owned this house as soon as I saw the listing. I hardly think the pictures matter.
Thomas Blair is a great guy and earned every bit of his success. I hope his family has enjoyed every minute in this house.

FYI he is also David Blair's father. Wasn't that a mistake MOCO?? Someone who understands and embraces success sure would have been a better leader during our current fiasco!

I like this house. Totally not my style but you can tell they put a lot of love and thought into it.

I feel like the basement is super creepy and could be the scene of some awful child predator horror movie.

Tax and deed records are public record. It isn’t too hard to figure out who owns the house by the address anyway.

Exactly. SDAT available to all.

David lost by 77 votes to Elrich in the primary. The moderate vote was split among Blair and 2-3 other candidates.

Yeah, it is really sad. We would be in a much better position now. Elrich's whining press conference today was a disgrace. Think about how many people didn't bother to vote in the primary and could have made a big difference. instead we have a county exec elected by a minority and doesn't represent most of us
