I actually like Andrea, nickname Andy or Andie. |
| I have a Lydia but also love Joy, Gloria, Grace, and Betsy (nn for Elizabeth). |
| No idea if it’s trending or not (though I haven’t met any)- was going to use Lilah if I had a second girl. |

Heather is a great pick. |
No. Heather makes me think of leg warmers and Jane Fonda workout videos. |

I forgot about Pamela and Laurel - also names that were discussed in our house
I had a m/c at one point - my due date would have been tax day. We were leaning towards April with that pregnancy. I also like Autumn and Spring. |
This post isn’t really asking for your personal opinions on names. Just names that are not currently in heavy use |

Neither of my kids have an “obscure” name, they are names that you’ve definitely heard before, but are not trendy and definitely not hard to spell. My youngest daughter’s name now is a little more popular, but my oldest isn’t and I’ve not once been asked how to spell it. Think of Marie, like a pp posted they named their child. Not obscure, not popular, not hard to spell. Sweet, lovely name. I had a very common name growing up, was one of 6 in my class (six!) at one time. I hated it. Resented it. And although I don’t think of myself as a special little snowflake, I did feel like I was special enough to at least have a name that wasn’t shared with so many kids. So... that’s why. |

I just wanted to avoid the several in the same class/activity phenomenon. Some of us grew up with that and hated it. I was looking for names that weren’t currently in heavy use, unlikely to make a rapid comeback, BUT also known, not “out there” names Lots of names out there that fit this description |
