He's 52. Not exactly Tony Randall. |
On DCUM, it's only gross when it's an older man sleeping with a younger woman. Otherwise, it's beautiful. Before the red-pill accusations come out, I am a woman and married to a man my age. |
No, it doesn't give me any pause. These women are not coerced into being donors and surrogates - my friend's egg donor is a friend who offered, and the surrogate is a happy mother and wife who loves being pregnant and feels what she does is important. Babies need loving parents, not mothers. |
I'm not a huge fan of someone in his 50s having a baby. |
It's not ideal, but he's wealthy and fit - his mom lived to age 95. Kid will be just fine. |

He's too old. Should have picked up this hobby 10 years ago if this is what he wanted to do. |
Just report the trolling posts, don’t both responding to nonsense. |
Too bad he couldn't adopt from foster care. |
Ahh, so to rationalize the hypocrisy you deploy hyperbole on the very extreme end of late fatherhood (Tony was in his 70s). Suddenly the goalpost is moved — now 50-something isn’t too old? Yet when Fergie’s ex Josh Duhamel — age 46 — wanted kids, it was 20+ DCUM pages of ewwww gross old man! Same for Alex Baldwin, who was in his 50s when he and wife Hilaria began having kids. |
So as long as the man is fit, rich and we verify a parent lived a long life, men in their 50s can now procreate with 20- and 30- women without being vilified? |
To the people questioning his age at becoming a father-- his mother just died within the last year. She was 43 when she had him and still lived to see him past his 50th birthday. So I think genetics are on their side.
He was close with his mother, and she was quite a character with a remarkable life story. If anyone hasn't seen the documentary about them, Nothing Left Unsaid, I highly recommend it. I found it really uplifting, and it stayed with me for a long time. |
Awwwww! Thanks for posting this! I can’t believe how teary I got watching this. I wish this new family every happiness! |
