I'm very sorry. You hear how the virus can cause a fast downward spiral, but your ex husband never saw it coming. It's especially sad because there was no time for goodbyes.

My sincere condolences to both you as well as your young son.

This truly breaks my heart to read this.

JFC. Good thing we have you to focus on the important stuff . . .

Obviously, PP, you failed to read OP’s original thread - or even her first posts in this thread. If you had, you’d understand it was her EX who passed away; she was mostly concerned about her child’s loss of a father, and secondarily about how sad her ex’s widow must be. As for the ex - THEY DIVORCED. Maybe some ex’s are still madly in love, but I didn’t get that an ex in this case; just the opposite.

Is she sad about him on some level? Sure. Happy he’s out of her life forever? Of course not. But it certainly didn’t seem as if she was still in love with her re-married spouse.

Sheesh. Reading comprehension, people!

OP: I am sorry for your son’s loss, and for your ex’s widow’s loss. Hope you’ve fully recovered. When you are well enough, you might consider donating antibodies to help fight this awful disease you thankfully survived. Be well.

Thank you PP.

I’m upset because someone I knew for 15 years, lived with for 8 and married for 5 is gone. I’m upset because my son doesn’t have a father. Our marriage was bad but he was always a wonderful father to our son and watching my son try to grasp his death has been heartbreaking.

The OP appears to be a troll so I am locking this thread.
