And where they work.

And what hospital they visited to be tested.

And which airport they used. And where they went grocery shopping after arriving home.

You should live in China. Not only you will be IDs, your movement will be watched by everybody on their phone.

Hopefully they were cautious after returning home from overseas location.

Bethesda

Do you know that? How?

DP. Bethesda, Rockville, or Chevy Chase seem like reasonable guesses.

Can we not guess during a situation like this?

For most people it’s a cold. Calm down.

For 20% of people it's not. That's a lot of people.

Cite?

If 80% of cases are mild, then that means 20% of cases are not mild. It's just math.

IDed.

Why would they ask these people to come in for testing rather then sending people to them? Ridiculous.

Doesn’t matter.

They were on a plane, so everyone on that plane was potentially exposed.

They used the restroom at the airport.

They went grocery shopping. Etc.

So did everyone else on the plane.

Anonymous wrote:when do you guys think/predict we will see a case in VA? Are they even testing in Fairfax county? My daughter's school issued a emergency preparedness plan - it states the moment we have a confirmed case in Fairfax County - they close. I am just holding my breath ... what do you guys think? Will it come here?

There are some tests pending in VA, but not Northern VA. No confirmed cases, as far as I know.

Does your daughter go to a private school or Fairfax Co public schools?

Private. But they follow FCPS usually.

FCPS hasn't issued any similar statement.

+1

But if it wasn’t them, it would someone else. That’s what community transmission means.

Exactly!

They exposed people at the hospital. Whoever tested them at the hospital was exposed and then went home.

Oh really, I wasn't aware. Hmm... I wonder why they would say that then, seems overly cautious, no?

Our private school in Fairfax county said they will close if a student or staff at the school is confirmed to have it, not just anywhere in the county.
