He’s anti American and a washed up football player that had two terrible last seasons before he never got renewed. He likes to protest, and was raised by a white couple in Wisconsin who adopted him and then nurtured his athletic talents by moving all around. He’s no MLK. |
| That Vista founder is black and wants everyone to shape up and work hard. |
| Kaepernick is the modern day Muhammed Ali. |
Did Muhamad Ali spread hate? |
How is CK spreading hate? By asking white police officers to stop shooting unarmed black men? Or was it when he quietly took a knee? |
Search it up and you will have your answer. There is a reason why he is divisive. Also, he doesn't know what he is talking about. |
What’s American to you? Black people staying in their place and keeping their mouths shut? Or maybe you prefer them entering establishments from the back. |
No, I’m asking YOU how is he spreading hate. When I search, I see a man standing up for AA and putting his money where his mouth is. |
Oh there is a reason why he is divisive. But we both know why that reason is for someone like you. |
Kaepernick compares modern cops to runaway slave patrol after Castile verdict Also, you must have missed the pig socks he used to wear. Get your head out of the sand. |
Remember when Muhammad Ali refused to be drafted and was convicted of draft evasion? There are lots of people citing Muhammad Ali and MLK as heroes now, who then would have been saying exactly the same stuff they're saying about Colin Kaepernick now. |
Oh I’m sorry, police weren’t shooting unarmed black men? Get from under your white robe and open your eyes. |

I don't have an issue with the choice - as long as it is not a negative figure, not big deal.

Spotlight:
Most people call her "Lash," but LaShyra Nolen’s name is hardly the only unique thing about her. Last year, she became the first black woman ever elected as class president of Harvard Medical School (HMS). Born in Compton, California, and educated in Los Angeles, Lash grew up with big dreams and equally daunting challenges. Despite not seeing black women leadership reflected in society in general, she found inspiration in the strength of the women around her. Lash’s mom had her when she was only 18 years old. But as a single mom, she got her masters, while working numerous jobs to support Lash’s dreams. Today, Lash is a Fulbright Scholar, activist, and an emerging leader in medicine.
”Our society has a way of implicitly reminding young black girls what they cannot achieve and what they cannot be, while explicitly giving the green light to white men. For those same reasons I almost didn't apply to HMS. It wasn't until my mentors told me that I was capable of being a student at a place like this. And there are so many young girls out there who are excellent and deserve access to opportunity, but won't take the leap because society tells them that it's not for them. So no matter how crazy it might sound, no matter if someone in your family has done it or not, just go get it, because you miss 100% of the shots you don't take.” |
That's a good point. Ali said that he couldn't fight in Vietnam because of his religion lmao |
