We know a Milly who is Mildred, named after her grandmother (or maybe great grandmother). |
| Sadie and Sally are both nicknames for Sarah. |
| Maya |

I have a Molly. It actually wasn’t our favorite but grew kind of organically (our older daughter picked it as the baby’s nickname and it turns out our parents liked it a lot too).
Other names we really like / considered: Nell Abigail Lydia Juniper Louisa Rebecca Naomi Rosie Iris Emily I saw others suggested Sadie and I like that a lot too (DH didn’t). I have a cousin Jenny which might be conceptually similar too. |
| Pp here. I haven’t read all the replies, but seeing your DH likes gender neutral names, I went to college with a Theodora who went by “Teddy”. |
^^^ and the Maggie in the US Senate |
What are your kids' names? |

Lindsay Sally I had to look up what Dottie was short for. I always call my daughter dottie or dots but as short form for daughter : ) Her name is Maddie/Madeline. |
