I have a Molly. It actually wasn’t our favorite but grew kind of organically (our older daughter picked it as the baby’s nickname and it turns out our parents liked it a lot too).

I saw others suggested Sadie and I like that a lot too (DH didn’t). I have a cousin Jenny which might be conceptually similar too.

Pp here. I haven’t read all the replies, but seeing your DH likes gender neutral names, I went to college with a Theodora who went by “Teddy”.

I had to look up what Dottie was short for. I always call my daughter dottie or dots but as short form for daughter : ) Her name is Maddie/Madeline.
