The CU had an old address on file. Since then, I've moved 3 times. So no, I never received the 1099. The interest is minimal, may a couple dollars per year.

You're lucky it wasn't escheated.

And now everyone should go search themselves on the unclaimed property sites for the states they've lived in, and see who can actually find $25k to do whatever they want with!
