| Try not to stare at couple's kissing while eating alone, OP. That's weird. |
Where did I say I stare at people while eating alone? You’re attempt at wit makes you look like an imbecile. You should know that functioning adults are able to notice things without staring. |
Right here. You sound unhappy. |
We were in Italy last summer and noticed that lots of Italian couples are affectionate in public- and not just young couples, but middle aged and older, too. We saw them and figured, when in Rome...

How so? |
| What kind of places do you go to? We frequent a lot of DC restaurants and don't really see this. |
| Annoying, but at the same time so sweet. They are in that part of the relationship where the passion burns deep, they have butterflies in their stomach, the chemistry is real. So, good for them. |
I’ve been to all major cities in Italy several times. I have never noticed this. If anything, they seemed more reserved..especially to foreigners. |
+1 |
| I posted somewhere in here saying it was weird but I mean repeated kissing, sitting on top of each other, etc. Not just a random kiss when you’re standing in line or a kiss hello/goodbye. If people want to do that when they’re outside or walking down the street that’s fine but I just think it’s weird when your chair is practically touching theirs and they’re making out. |
I don’t mind it at all! |
| My SO and I are like this. The worst is when we say good bye at the airport, ha. |

DH and I are like this. I felt a little guilty about the pda when we were young and first getting together, but 15 years and 3 kids later, I’m just so grateful we WANT to be kissy still.
I like seeing older couples act this way, I think it’s great. |
