Whoa!!

DP. I am in DC and see it all the time. Live downtown. Standing in line at a Smithsonian museum, etc. Just gross. These are adults not teens doing this in front of kids. |
| I actually see this all the time at all different places and I think it’s weird. I even see people doing this at my kids activities. Hugging, kissing, sitting in each other’s laps, etc. I’ve always thought it was weird but thought maybe I was just weird. |
| Annoying and phoney. |
| Hugging and kissing in public is weird to you guys? No wonder all the other threads are about your marriages being on the rocks... |
|
Its both sweet and annoying. Perfect reminder that you're not there anymore lol.
|
They are obviously unmarried couples out on a date or on their second day together having brunch. |
Sitting at a restaurant bar? Why kiss every 5 minutes? It feels insincere and for show. |
As a married person who is affectionate in public, at home, and everywhere in between, who knows. |
I’ve seen this at a Fridays. There was a couple sitting in a back corner and she was under the table for a while and then after a couple of minutes she got out from underneath |
Those people fight like crazy cats when no one is watching at home. I bet woman come here to bit*h about her miserable BF/DH. |
| There's a difference between affection, hugging & kissing and making out frequently. Get a room. |
Because we’re in love. For show? We don’t even know you’re there. |
PP specifically mentioned hugging and kissing. Agree that making out and groping is weird. |
long happy marriage is difficult. anybody can fk. that's the easy part. |
