Anyone get stomach pain from high waisted leggings or jeans?

I agree wholeheartedly! Even though my hips are curvy (not overweight). I couldn't believe how extremely comfortable high waisted jeans were after all the mid- and low rise ones which would all stretch and start sliding down. I will never go back to mid- and low rise.

Same, I’ve been painting a room and wearing old low rise jeans to do it. They still fit, but the cutting across the hip and the constant pulling up is a nuisance. How were these ever favorites? The style was just stupid.

I have stomach problems (ulcer) and I absolutely cannot wear anything around my stomach. I buy low waisted pants whenever possible.

Yes. it's due to a gut issue.

I just want to say…that I DID have pain with high-waisted jeans, especially when I sat down or drove my car…I lost a little weight..and the pain in gone. They were just too tight at the waist, even though I could slip fingers under my waistband.

I can only see this as a problem if you proportionately carry more weight around your middle.

Yes, I’m thin and short waisted. I have a few wearable high rise pants, but I try to stick with mid-rise. It’s not a medical issue just proportions that don’t jive with high rise.

I used to wear high and low rise styles but after having kids, I only wear high rise leggings and pants now. low rise is no longer flattering (due to my mummy tummy)

Ask your doctor to check for gastritis and h pylori. Jeans yes, but leggings means either they are way too tight or you need to get checked out.

Why would you do this to yourself? Stop wearing them. You freaks!!!

Because some women will wear anything that they consider fashionable. Gad, the mom jeans are back!

Yes. They feel fine in the morning and by afternoon, they are too tight. Bloat. They also give me cramps. I feel the same about high-waisted leggings. Can't wear anything too high.

Finally, I’m glad it is being talked about. I am convinced those pull on non zipper legging pants that have Lycra, or spanx under garments, leads to abdominal issues. I felt that the pressure had to be affecting your stomach and internal organs. I will never wear them again and wonder if there has been a study on the dangers of them.

I just noticed this with my compression leggings this morning.

Yes, I prefer the low waist style jeans I wore as a teenager. I just cannot do high waist pants. I am slim with narrow hips (my waist goes straight into my hips) The top of the pants will just continue to slide down putting pressure since I have no hips to keep them up.
