He also said....
"What we objected to were demands that would violate seperation of powers... We will of course cooperate with a co-equal branch but won't tolerate bullying."

Evidently, Schiff and the Democrats have been intimidating State Dept. workers by contacting them directly and telling them to not have lawyers or to contact State Dept. legal counsel.

That is according to Pompeo, who has now admitted to being a liar.

Yes, I'm sure he would deny it. But we can listen to him and realize it ourselves.

Yup.

I particularly love this excerpt...

Mifsud met Papadopoulos through his Italian wife, Simona Mangiante, a lawyer and part-time lingerie model who had hoped to launch her acting career with a role playing French actress Brigitte Bardot in an American film. Mangiante told The Daily Beast last year that she met Mifsud doing some legal consulting for one of his classes.

Can’t make this sh*t up.

Brains and beauty...the Italian way!

There’s been a lot of speculation that she’s not Italian.

Unlikely to happen today. Maybe Friday?

Or if the State IG's testimony is really bad, it might happen earlier.

Italian by association?

Simona Mangiante Papadopoulos

Italian 100%. Born and raised in #Italy. I speak and work in 5 languages that's probably why I don't sound like the #godfather. My accent might have many odd notes but they don't belong to one single language group- viva l'Italia! Amo il mio paese!

Everyone in Europe speaks 5 languages. Your accent sounds Russian. Trust me I know I lived in Milan 2 years.

Well, he lied and said he wasn’t present for the call, which he subsequently admitted. He isn’t a truth-teller. Aka, liar. He has no credibility, and his “version” of anything can not be trusted. FFS, he’s hanging out with a Nazi.

Pompeo, who said earlier this month he couldn’t respond to ABC questions about the Trump/Zelensky phone call because he hadn’t seen the report on it, has a new quote today. “I was on the phone call,” he confirms.

Crossing fingers for State that he will get gone soon. I have a friend starting there soon (staff, not political) and apparently he’s a terrible boss. Richard Engel reported that CIA had an “emancipation party” when he left.

He won't resign, he is too deep into it. He likely lost his window for Senate viability as well.

Yes, you are wrong. A lot of people brought that up and thought it was fishy he was still on the case at all.
