Now as a DH, can any of you imagine your DW bringing this up to you? My "it's a trap" radar would be going haywire.

I'd be happier if my husband slept with my best friend than being a sperm donor (seriously). Not that I'm happy with either option of course, but a one-off would be easier to handle than an always there kind of thing.

My DH said he wouldn't do it as he would feel some attachment to the child and couldn't really imagine a child of his being raised without a father around.
