Depends on who you ask, I guess. They blew up when Drake featured them on his song and they've got numerous radio hits. |
No, it’s a LIE. Who are you guys who believe her. Remember she claimed that the balance showed up but we all told her every time you wait with a bank acct online, you sign out. Every time. Except with this person - who is lying. |
Op, we may not recognize who you’re writing about, but if she comes across this post, she will know exactly who you are. |
I'm the person you quoted. I didn't say I believed that whole bank story, I'm just saying I think this is the same person, and if it is I believe it's also the same person who named her celebrity "friend" as Yung Miami. |

Who??
There’s a really low bar for who passes as a celebrity these days. |
This. I am personally not in the celebrity friend world, but I know people who are and are also friends with like extremely wealthy people. I would also advise you to hope for the best but plan for the worst. Hope for the best in terms of your friendship, but be prepared for her to ghost or abandon you. This kind of behavior also reeks of insecurity from the celebrity friend. So, like just be prepared. |

I do not have celebrity friends, but I have friends that do. And not bs-flash-in-the-pan wannabes like op is talking about. I mean like Oprah level.
They don’t post ANYTHING ABOUT THEM ONLINE. Not ever. They never speak of them. I suppose it’s because they are truly friends. They would consider it a betrayal. |
Shut up and take the gifts.
|
| You sound like the other poster from a month or so ago was talking about the celebrity friend they met how you guys are so tight and you just want to have a normal friendship with her. I think you are a troll. |
. act up is my jam. |
| This is a weird thread |
Oh! Whatshername from City Girls? It’s about that season! |
And Twerk with Cardi B. I love their ratchetness. |

Most of the reality “stars” aren’t really celebrities. We attended a wedding and sat with a young woman and her parents. The young woman seemed a bit high-strung but she mostly chatted with my 13 year old and the other children. The next day, I learned that she’s a starlet on a reality tv show. If she’d mentioned it, we would have recognized the name.
Also, we have a relative who is a current Disney child star. If you don’t have ES or tween kids, you wouldn’t know who he is. Sometimes people recognize him in DD’s family photos, but mostly he’s not recognizable and doesn’t live a lavish lifestyle. A lot of his attire is rented or loaned. Same with experiences on his Insta —luxury hotels just let him use a room for an hour to shoot a few photos. He’s really staying under his mom’s name in an Air BNB an hour outside the city. |
There is nothing about any of this that makes sense, starting with the premise that OP needed "support" after receiving a gift. |
