How do people like this get so many followers?

Please enjoy a giant middle finger from the Midwest. (I took out more words here.)

Not sure why that pissed you off, since I just said that we shouldn't judge her based on East Coast style standards, but I hope you're feeling better.

It’s still up, and now with both hands for you since you think I’m too stupid to make inferences.

There's a whole subreddit dedicated to snarking on her...and the general consensus is that she buys her followers. She has a lot of followers but very low engagement, which is how brands decide who to partner with...hence why she doesn't have any official brand partners.

She is middle age, from Texas, and mentions Jesus. Why is this hard to figure out?

So remember the romper thread? Where there was violent disagreement about rompers?

Well, this woman is the reason why I am generally against the whole "dressy rompers" thing. I think of her anytime I see someone wearing a romper with pointy heels.

This is Texas style not Midwest. No one dresses like this in the Midwest. Women with means and that care about fashion in the Midwest dress similarly to their NE counterparts, maybe slightly more eclectic/artsy. And in winter it is more about surviving than fashion..

I have never seen anyone in the Midwest outside of a college sorority wear a Lily dress

They buy them. Nothing on social media is real, y’all. Stop wasting your time.

She might show 67k followers, but her posts don't seem to ever have more than 900 likes. A few had 1300, which is very low for someone with 67k followers. She probably purchased followers.

You need to calm down. The midwest is what it is, and you live there and understand its virtues. It doesn't have to be a fashion capital in order to be an okay place to live. Also, east coast fashion isn't something to aspire to either.

She lived in texas for like 5 minutes as a child/teen. Not as an adult. Other than that she lives in Illinois. Yes, some people in the Midwest do wear Lilly, it’s seen as aspirational. But she mostly flexes her Tory Burch shoes and designer bags for social media, which are more of a Thing in the Midwest than LP. She also almost certainly buys followers.

She reminds me of Ashley from 90 day fiancé.

Y'all should go read this week's thread on her snark subreddit lol. They are absolutely tearing her apart and it's hysterical.

Also, here is a funny parody account I found: https://www.instagram.com/saratondello/
