And for everyone else's house, and make sure they don't distribute the first, corrupted picture. |
That's just odd. You have your pic with your kid in it, but most people will never look at these pics again, it's not that important to them to have a pic of your kid. |
Guaranteed someone else will be absent on impromptu retake day. |
np There is a difference between being there and missing the photo and being absent. How can you not see the difference? |
Huh? How the hell is the mom supposed to get her child’s entire class together for a picture that she takes herself? Please explain the logistics because i genuinely want to know. |
| This thread is 5 years old. I'm sure the OP has resolved it (or not, but nothing that can be done now). |
If my kid was absent on the retake day obviously I won’t care about the one they aren’t in, doesn’t really matter why. And why would another parent even know what the issue was? |
| I would take in cupcakes on your child’s birthday or the last day of school, and get a group photo. The teacher may help since she feels bad. There are typically other events where they will pose together for a group shot like concerts too. |
I feel badly for your kid’s teachers. You sound like a nightmare. My kid gets pull-outs for speech and self-regulation. I’d ask when make-ups are, but you are wildly out of line. |
This! It isn't on the parent. When my kid was in elementary, the SLP was good at making sure he didn't miss some big activity and occasionally he missed speech like when there was a class party or something. I assume she and the teacher were coordinating. This was on the teacher and the SLP. Not the parent. |
