Actually it’s the opposite. Not sure where you got that from. Look at fit women over 45, most are petite.

Having a short son is the trade off.

I'm petite- 5'2" and I don't mind being short. However, I don't like dating tall guys. That just seems weird to me. Why would I want to be with someone who's over a foot taller than I am? Awkward. I swipe left on anyone over 6'

Yeah, I agree. I'm just under 5'4'' and I in college I dated a guy who is 6'2''. It was very awkward at times! DH is 5'8'' and it's much better. I wouldn't mind anything under 6', but much above that gets difficult.

Yeah, I agree. I'm just under 5'4'' and I in college I dated a guy who is 6'2''. It was very awkward at times! DH is 5'8'' and it's much better. I wouldn't mind anything under 6', but much above that gets difficult.

DP.. I felt that way too (I'm 5') but ended up with a DH who is 6'3". Sometimes you can't help who you fall in love with. The good part is that my kids will more than likely be of average size.

I asked my DH early on if the height bothered him. He said no. I think he's dated short women before. It did bother me. Now, I'm just used to it after 18 years.

I like generally small women, but never under 5’4 ish. Don’t like the short legs, they look stumpy. I love longer, thin legs.

I'm 5'2" and 105 and my DH is 6'3" and weighs about 215 with a low BMI. I spend a great deal of time on top or in positions not easily achieved by women much larger than me. There aren't a lot of benefits from being petite but that is one of them.

It's a 19.2 BMI, so low but still in normal range. That's the height/weight I was in college. Now I'm just under 5'4'' and am 125 lbs.
