Absolutely not. The Heights is Opus Dei, a fundamentalist sect of the Catholic Church. They swim in intolerance. I would never send my son to the Heights--and I'm a practicing Catholic.

There are 5000 boys currently attending boys' schools in the DC area. Apparently, angry PP knows every one of them and had decided they are all identical beings.

Why is this convo on the heights thread? My son is a freshman there, has no phone, doesn’t text and is being raised to respect his mother, sister and grandmothers. And we’ve seen the same in his friends and classmates. I can’t sleak of other schools but the heights is not portrayed correctly on these boards.

Respecting a woman and being able to work side-by-side with her as an equal are very different. Would you say that most men at the heights believe women are equals and belong in the workplace as an equal or better?
