Umm no they weren’t. There’s a reason her births are nicknamed the Great Kate Wait. Reporters started staking out and speculating in April 2013. George wasn’t born until the end of July.

The great Kate Wait is well under way. All we know is she’s due. At some point in the future.

+1. And she's short-waisted, and she's slim, and she's not tall. And sure, maybe she's due in March rather than April. Don't underestimate the impact of being short-waisted vs. long-waisted. There's much more room - vertically - for the baby to grow when mom is long-waisted. Her baby/belly doesn't really have anywhere to go other than out.

The twins speculation is pretty out there. Can you imagine being a newly pregnant royal, going on the grueling Oceania tour, with a twin (high-risk) pregnancy?

One of the most annoying things about being pregnant was the size police. Everyone is either “too big” or “too small” according to someone. Everyone’s body is different, everyone carries differently - if you’ve been pregnant you know this, so just leave the poor woman alone! We will all know soon enough how many babies, its birthday, its gender, etc. It will all be revealed! Until then, just let her get on with it!

I had a February baby and was HUGE by Christmas.

There is a picture of me with my two older cousins when we were all pregnant and due around the same time. My belly was the biggest because I am petite and short-waisted. My cousin who is a foot taller than me and larger build was not really showing at all with a sweater on.

This baby is due in March.

Why does it have to be you like either Kate or Meghan? They both seem like really good people and of course, are quite different from each other. For people speculating on Meghan's size...that is just mean and you know it. Who would want to live life under such a microscope? Not me!

I wouldn't say she is naturally tiny--isn't she like 5'7"? She was definitely extremely thin pre-pregnancy so any weight gain is going to be very noticable. I'm due around the same time and I don't think it looks like twins. My stomach popped already and I'm getting comments constantly like I'm about to give birth--nope---still have 3.5 months to go!

Bump size and shape varies immensely. I had a basketball at 16 weeks because I lost 40lbs from hyperemesis.
