Not inclined to read all the posts. You really have to consider the TONE of the poster. It's pretty obvious who got into what and who did NOT. Also who has what at THIER own (read: "superior") school. ENORMOUS factors in their "decision"/"opinion"/post. Consider the source, consider the source, consider the source! |

Well yes, it's obvious that the person calling others "negative" about IB was one of the people who trashed AP earlier in the thread. Too bad she was too lazy to actually show her support for IB by explaining it, you know, doing the hard work of actually writing paragraphs.... |

Or maybe she's not from MoCo and doesn't give a d*mn about MoCo schools? It looked pretty MoCo-specific, which as a DC resident is completely uninteresting to me. |

Actually, it had a bunch of questions about IB programs. Sure, there were a few references to MoCo schools like Richard Montgomery. But the hexagon is universal. So is the problem of proliferating IB programs. It happens in VA, too.
But if all you want to do is abuse AP programs and other posters, well then, of course you'll read into it what you want. |
