School for *BOYS*?

I think OP just wants to find the right school for her son-based on his interests and personality. Let's face it--not all schools attract the same types of people. Some want independent kids, some want artsy kids, some want sporty kids. To those of you whose kids can sit it silence for 45 minutes working on a project, I commend you--but not everyone's 5 year old can do that. I know mine can't.

My DS likes sports, reading, drawing and is energetic. He also tends to be one of the more lively/animated kids in the class (i.e. He's the one singing the loudest or laughing the hardest). I love him to pieces and I know that he needs an environment where personalities like his are welcome. I don't want him to dread going to school because we picked an environment that is too restrictive and he doesn't fit in.
