I would love to find a travel club in Maryland that made training fun. Any suggestions?

FC Bordeaux's trainings for through U12s are made really fun while still working on serious technical skills. The coach is a former boys BSC coach.

Is it James Myers Antiaye? I didn't meet him, but heard very good things about his work with one of the younger age groups. He was on the bench for a DA game last year and took my son aside at half time to make a couple of observations about runs he should consider given how the other team was organizing their defense. That helped to open up the second half, and my son told us afterward how impressed he was by the coach's game awareness.

Yes. It's James.

FC Bordeaux in MoCo. There are other clubs outside of MoCo such as Calvert Elite, Pipeline, etc. Bethesda is a factory for making money not a place to develop players.

I have and I consider BSC overrated on the girls' side. It is a strong club but NoVA and Baltimore have stronger teams. If you are looking for prestige, then go BSC. If you are looking to play top-level soccer in preparation for college, go elsewhere. McLean is close and has more to offer.
