BSC girls is very shaky. Your best bet will be to go to Va. |

What’s wrong with MSI Academy for U11/U12/U13 Girls that people would not recommend and/or consider?
Are there any coaches there that are great coaches for U11, U12 or U13? |
FC Bordeaux does have 2007, 2005, and 2003 teams. I think they are trying to fill in with even year teams. My daughter got an offer we turned down for a new 2004 team. Not sure if they got enough interest to really make new teams. That's a club to watch. |

Is this the Bordeaux web site?

There seems to be some Bethesda hate on this board (girls side, anyway). What gives? |
There are cultural issues. |
| Cultural issues is a little vague. |

Yes. They don't show the new age groups but they plan to split the 2003 into a 2003 and 2004 and split the 2005 into a 2005 and 2006. I think it is a club on the rise. The challenge is that the club teams, unlike the graduating u19 team, is not likely to play in the top divisions of EDP or the top brackets of tournaments for another year. The training is great but the lack of competition does not help development. |

BSC girls works for a lot of girls/families with positive experiences, but recognize that some families do not find it a fit and/or have bad experiences. That's pretty common in soccer and more broadly travel sports. There are some very vocal posters on this board - but to say it's very shaky as a blanket statement isn't accurate for many groups. Would recommend anyone do your due diligence that would be similar to profile - - ie., age groups, roughly development level, and as other pp said in terms of specific coaches. ECNL, or a U13 player, for instance, would be very different than families first trying soccer at U9/U10. Btw - On MRM, there are several teams led by different coaches with very different styles for different age groups. Again, its a due diligence process - and most teams allow players to try out in practices, which gives you a chance to see the coach, players, and talk to parents. Also in comparing notes with families, when you add up all the costs (a MRM team has more separate fees) , it's not cheaper than BSC |
Where do they train? |
OP, I think your post got lost in the quote there. Bethesda Girls has a few great coaches who can develop players. It is hit and miss whether any particular player will get such a coach in the younger years. The club has a wealthy clientele and a lot of the families invest in private training on top of Bethesda’s training in an effort to reach the top tier. Obviously, the dedication of tremendous resources helps. |
