River farm was on the cheaper side when we looked
Barns @ wolf trap (def book up in advance though) Old town hall in Fairfax |
I was just thinking about a Nats Park wedding last night. |
Thank you. Love this. |
| O Street Mansion |
One of the best weddings I've ever been to was at the bumper car pavillion at Glen Echo. Highly recommended! |
| Maybe not unconventional but the Hill Center grounds. I’d suggest renting out Little Pearl but it would probably blow your budget. |

It's not that unconventional, but if you went to Martin's Crosswinds in Greenbelt, you can get venue and catering easily within your budget. The bonus is that the Holiday Inn is right across the parking lot which means that guests traveling and staying can walk back to their hotel without driving.

When we looked at that (quite a few years ago) we crossed it off our list because there is no a/c, which would be a bad idea in August. |
US too!!!! Loved our wedding! |
Similarly the Greenbelt Marriott will be less costly than hotels in DC. |
DP here. I agree it's a great venue, but I'm not sure it's good for an August wedding. |
| that yellow house across from Meridian Hill Park (I forget the name) |
Already mentioned on an earlier page. https://www.washingtonparks.net/josephine-butler-parks-center/ |

Carnegie Library. Attended one of the most beautiful weddings there.
Also, if you know someone you can get married at the Supreme Court. |
