Good people get good things.. and you must have been nice this year. You will get into Lee on lottery draw day and be in the top 10-20 at your 1-6 choices. You will receive offers from at least three of those before September, and end up at MV, because even after receiving an offer, you aren't sure you can support the Mandarin. You will apply for a transfer to the new MV campus at Lighthouse after hating North Capitol traffic your child's PK3 year.

You are Raymond bound. You will stay enthusiastic about it. You will watch your WL numbers at HA and actually receive an offer from AT-CH but decide to go with your kid's birthday party friends who also ended up at Raymond

Swami appreciates your shoot for the moon, but you will only get into Height, and you will decide to stay in daycare/preschool for another year. And you are ok because potty training isn't QUITE where you want it to be. You will move to Virginia by 2020 and cannot believe what you are paying for a small lot bungalow rehab.

Swami says you'll get into Breakthrough, and re-enter the lottery for Takoma IB because the location uncertainty freaks you out too much.

(And to others, we know we probably have some wasted spots after our #5, but already had identified all the safeties we would consider based on school and commute.)

Swami appreciates that you appreciate Hebrew and Tier one schools, because Sela is where you will be... this year... until you aren't satisfied with their DCI spin.

Swami thinks you relied too much on DCUM's definition of what a good school is to make your list. You will get into the top 40 for Lee, TRY and SSMA, but enroll at Miner. The only other school you'll get an offer from is SSMA and you will decide it isn't worth a commute through Dave Thomas Circle.

Swami says you will buck this list after terrible waitlist numbers (other than JOW) and a commitment to immersion and enroll at Bethune Brookland. You will move your child in mid-September when your kid receives an offer from Stokes Spanish EE JUST shy of the count day deadline.

Swami says you are going to be one of the lucky ones-- the universe is rewarding you for a balanced list. You won't get into DCB off the bat, but will by July. You will hate the traffic and congestion until Junior finally masters the escorted and DCUM-required helmeted scooter to school by November.

Thanks Swami. I don’t know why this is so enjoyable but I really love this thread!

Swami thinks you will be the double good pull, and eventually get into DCB... but not until September no-shows. You aren't convinced on Montessori or on LAMB remaining geographically doable or moving past it's current scandals.

Pk4, at Seaton which we have been perfectly happy with. We considered not playing again until next year (and are open to staying till 5th) But here we are... This probably makes more sense as K list but here it is:

SWS
Ross
Inspired Teaching
Mundo Verde
TR 4
Hyde Addison
Eaton

You are going to go O-fer.
And keep trying to make Seaton happen, including opening more aftercare slots and beforecare!
