Daphne, Sabrina, Eloise, or Louisa?

Sabrina sounds cheap and tacky to my ear. A low class persons idea of high class. Sort of like a Tiffany.

Love Louisa

Agree with PP that Sabrina, Eloise, and Louisa are all immediately going to be nicknamed. I'm not a fan of nicknames so that would be another deterrent to me, personally. But lots of people love a nickname.

What's a nickname for Sabrina?

Bree, Breen

I grew up knowing only obese girls named Sabrina so it will always be a fat name to me.

I don't think so at all. In fact I don't know a single grandma or even great grandma named that. I think it's beautiful and reminds me of the Eloise at the Plaza books.

Eloise is my grandmother’s name.

I like Daphne and Eloise but they are all nice. Sabrina seems a little more dated/80s to me but that might be because I grew up with a few.

The rest are ok.

If Daphne reminds you of "Scooby Doo," it's because you're not well-read. Daphne is a lovely name!

Ok, Daph.

Nope, sorry. My name is not Daphne, and neither of my daughters are named Daphne. But I have read Daphne du Maurier, and I know of the Greek myth of Apollo and Daphne.

The More You Know!

Keep talkin' Daf.

OK, I will. It's sad that your knowledge of cartoons exceeds your knowledge of literature and of mythology.
