Would you buy a used car in a color that isn't your favorite?

Well, you could always get it painted. Not sure how much that costs but may be worth it.

I don't care about the color of the car. Red might bug me.

We just had to replace an old car that was dying on us. It's theone DH drives the most so I let him take the lead on looking for what he wanted. He settled on a Toyota Camry. We *finally* found one that wasn't that old with low mileage but...it was a bright blue...like...to the point where in direct sunlight, it almost looks purple. LOL! I asked him repeatedly if he was SURE he wanted to settle for that color but he was so dead set on the higher trim level that he was willing to sacrifice color to get it. I'd have been happy with the more neutral, slightly cheaper ones that were a lower trim level.

The nice part about it is that it's super easy to find in a parking lot.

The color has kind of grown on me now.

This first picture I think is our color...blue crush metallic. http://camryrelease.blogspot.com/2015/11/2016-toyota-camry-xse-v6-for-sale.html

OP here.

I bought it and am very happy! Thanks for all of your different opinions. It was truly helpful in my decision-making.

I bought a gold Camry many moons ago. I remember thinking no way am I buying this old man car. But it was too good a deal to pass on. It ended up being the best car and I still miss it now that I have a new car in a color I like.

No. Did that and traded the car within the year.

I knew I didn't like the car when I bought it. Ex-BF kind of pressured me to buy it ("you don't hate it. It's not bad. You'll like it eventually" and I caved. It was mint green and 11 months later I hated it even more. I traded it in (and lost money) to get a car in a color I really liked.

Lesson learned.

Heck, I bought a new car that wasn’t my favorite color because it was such a good deal.
