That we make decisions based on our kids and not based on what we want or is that just part of parenting?
Probably. I make decisions based on my own life but wouldn’t ever admit it to anyone besides a close friend who probably feels the same. I figure my children will grow up and then they can do whatever they want to do. I enjoy working, socializing and staying in shape. I don’t worry about baby food, birthday parties, activities, etc.
