Bus bullying

The bus ride is like exploring the jungle.

I’m so sorry about your son.
I want to encourage you to talk to your son and tell him to sit near the driver. If the bus is not full, make sure that he will sit with others.
I hope your son will enjoy this school year and he will be safe. I will be praying for him.

But I'm a little nuts!

You & me both, Sistah! And, I must say I'm flabbergasted at the person trying to maintain that OP is an enabler and the 5th grader shouldn't be expected not to bully. Has this person ever spent time w/ 5th graders? I teach them after school & chaperone their field trips and eat lunch w/ them and come in for class parties. They know right from wrong. They should certainly be accountable for bullying behaviors.

Hang in there, OP. And do file a bullying report, start the clock and ask for concrete solutions from school & MCPS transport. Hope things turn around.
