Larry Hogan is pro public transport? I laffed. He only supported the bare minimum for the Purple Line, enough that DC burb moderates wouldn't rebel against him for outright cancelling the PL like he did the Red Line in Bmore. Then to throw read meat to his conservative base, he proposed a ludicrous expansion of MD highways without any corresponding increase in transit for those areas.

Any notion that Larry Hogan is pro public transport is ludicrous.

In all other scenarios, when someone approves mass transit this is normally considered to be overall a good thing for the environment. Funny how that’s different here you say...


I'm opposed to anything he does. Therefore I'm opposed to the purple line. I don't need a reason. I can find any reason if I really wanted to. But I oppose it he gets the credit for it. If the purple line was done by O'Malley or Baker, I'd be 100% for it. But it wasn't, therefore I oppose it 100%.

That's politics.
