I don't have a tv at all. Anyway I'm ok. I figured out how to stream CNN online. I'm going to focus on preparing for the bad weather now. A friend has asked me to stay with her tonight and tomorrow. I'll be ok. I told my boyfriend to give me space. He's insensitive a lot of the time and I can't count on him to be there for him when I need it the most.

I had an insensitive long distance boyfriend. Now I have a local husband who is perfect and so good to me. Looking back I can't believe what I put up with.

Where did you find a man who wasn't insensitive? Or did you train him to be that way?

You need to have your own emotional house in order before you can attract a man who has his in order.

He knows I'm nervous about the hurricane weather as I live in Georgia and we will most likely be affected. He told me to sign up for a free trial with sling. I did this but they don't give live coverage. Even if there wasn't a hurricane outside what's the big deal about giving me the password? I never really asked him for this because I usually don't watch tv unless I am with him. My apartment actually includes cable in the rent but you must have a fancy smart tv in order for it to work. I'm also finishing school and moving out of state in less than a month. I'm not going to buy a new tv right now. I wouldn't be able to take it with me. I don't know if he's busy or just being a jackass.

Parents take this as a warning. This is what happens when you give your kids everything or excuse them from everything because of school. Examples, He/she doesn't need to work so they can focus on school. He/she has excellent grades so we're buying a car/new tech toy.

Ask him to create a profile for you on the cable account with your own password or ask if he'd be open to changing the pw to one he'd be willing to share with you. I'd put money on this being an issue because this is the password he uses for a bunch of things.

That is what I think.

It is probably the password for his email and social media.

Are you in your late teens OP? This is a parenting board through older adult and I think you are being immature and silly.

I am 29 and in a PhD program.

What? My parents are poor and I have a teachers assistant job. I don't even have a tv because I am trying to be frugal. You have no idea what you're talking about.

Whatever, Miss My Parents Sent Me to Waldorf School. You sound like an idiot. How can you be in college and not know how to google CNN? How do you keep up with other news? I highly suspect you are a troll or are not telling the whole story.

I listen to the radio usually. I tried googling live news and short clips came up. I'm just not a tv person. I'm not sure why that's so hard to understand.

Sure babe. No one is buying what you are selling/ Just admit you wanted to snoop on your boyfriend and thought you had a good cover story. If you don't trust your boyfriend dump him. Don't be the snoop or the one who demands to know all passwords.

Op here: That's not true at all. I'm not the type of person who snoops and I seriously doubts he pays for porn. My ex boyfriend cheated on me and I found out by snooping. I don't want to put myself through that again.

He probably has a porn addiction that he doesn't want you to know about.

That is my best guess.....

Don't ask for the remote either.

In my opinion,
Boyfriend = you don't need the password

Husband = you should have the password
