Boyfriend won't give me the cable password

If you have free cable with your reny, you have your own cable password!

FYI with a smart tv ( or you can pick up a Roku) you still have to put in your cable information!

I don't though. I live in university housing. They don't give us cable passwords to have access through apps or tablets. I've tried to get it! I only have another month until I move back to dc.

If you've been with him for three years, surely you can have a conversation with him to understand why he was opposed to giving you the password. If, after three years, you don't feel comfortable asking him that question or you can't get a real answer out of him, that's a sign of bigger issues in your relationship than your password.

OP, why don't you go to the store and buy a $10 antenna so you can get the local channels? I also don't have a cable package, but use an antenna to get the local channels and watch the rest on Hulu/Netflix/Amazon.

I don't have a tv at all. Anyway I'm ok. I figured out how to stream CNN online. I'm going to focus on preparing for the bad weather now. A friend has asked me to stay with her tonight and tomorrow. I'll be ok. I told my boyfriend to give me space. He's insensitive a lot of the time and I can't count on him to be there for him when I need it the most.

I had an insensitive long distance boyfriend. Now I have a local husband who is perfect and so good to me. Looking back I can't believe what I put up with.

This is what struck me about the entire situation. He's not going to change. Good for you for distancing yourself a bit.

If you're not happy with him, and he's not a good match for you, why are you still with him?
