When renting a beach house for your family or two families, what do you expect?

But how do you prevent renters from stealing/swapping linens (usually towels)? I have friends with beach houses, and they say that people leave their crap towels, and take the nice towels, fairly often.

Yup. I have a rental and people steal like crazy. I absolutely lock my gopd towels up and put out cheap ones.

Add it to the cost of business. Make sure you charge a high enough rent to cover the cost of new linens and towels if needed. These are not items that break the bank.
