Forget it - for the life of me I can't figure out how to embed things in DCUM. I guess I am like Trump not knowing how to use scare quotes in that way. |
Because he doesn't know how to do that. (He also doesn't know that he can't do that. He obviously doesn't care about that.) |
"Are you f*cking kidding me?" is what I say to myself every time I vote for people who support getting rid of the same known spies or dictators living in the U.S. You aren't blameless. |
But you are? |
I'm not great at this either - can't do moving gifs for the life of me, but FWIW I think your first try would have worked without the "s" in https. |
Anyone who's ever watched an action flick or any prime time TV has probably at some point heard cops say that phrase to a perp, "...anything you say can and will be held against you in a court of law..."- apparently Trump hasn't ever encountered that piece of his advice and his lawyers haven't bothered to fill him in on that. |
Haha! I deserved that in this thread. Shorter: when I want to get my constructive criticism across to a hostile party (think teenagers) I sandwich it between compliments. |
Comey was obviously pressured to let Hillary off the hook last summer (taking the fall for Lynch who no longer could do it after the secret meeting with Bill Clinton was discovered), so he tried to straddle two positions. List everything HRC did wrong and then come up with a weak excuse to get her off.
He should have just resigned instead. |
Comey is now a private citizen. Private citizens do not "leak" they have 1st amendment protection (as long as they are not revealing classified info). Is it not troubling that the possibility of a private citizen talking to the press is now being considered a leak? |
Because an iphone doesn't create an actual "tape"?? |
With FBI investigations into both presidential candidates, he couldn't really charge one and not the other. He did the best he could. He should tell her, now that he's a private citizen, to knock it off. No more "I might run again" silliness. |
Trump should ask the WH Council. |
I don't know anymore. Information in this book I am reading on confessions can actually get a person off after all kinds of confessions. I know I sound simple to trained criminal attorneys but, I'm enthralled by what I am learning. |
