I guess she got tired of coaching? Looks like this technical advisor role is going to be an uber-coach and talent ID person for US Soccer on the girls' side, one per DA conference. So how many Mclean ECNL girls will move to a DA now, mid-year, next year at her urging?

Her own daughter of course!

We clicked no on both scrimmagefests this year. Fairly weak but legit conflicts. If DC was older maybe could have sent him with another family for 1/2 the day - but he didn't want to, so we didn't go. We got our CCL1 offer same team, so I guess it didn't really matter that much

Where else would it be?

CCL is a great league. If you don't like it, don't join it. STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT....EVERYTHING PEOPLE! Now we that out of the way, I have 2 kids in travel with a CCL club and nothing beats going to the same location for both of them to play. NO other league can do that.

Good luck when one of the kids gets downgraded to the B team and you have CCL and CCL2 locations every weekend though. It sucks then because they have nothing to do with one another.

My kids games were hours apart and often not at same field with the different ages.

Then as they aged up--club ditched ccl2 because it wasn't competitive enough and put team in ncsl instead.

I can see how that can be an issue. For now, it's worked for us and unlike many on these forums I am just giving my perspective. Competition has been good and I know the caliber of the other clubs are high because we do tournaments. We always see CCL clubs go far and many times have played a finals against a fellow CCL team. Before the jackasses comment, this happens in CCL Club hosted non hosted events like the Jeff Cup. If you don't like it, don't do it. If it's too expensive, don't do it. If you just bitch and complain, please don't do it for the rest of us.

Yes, but that's life as a parent of more than one travel soccer player. If the other kid is in NCSL or whatever, you'd still be at two different locations.

Agreed, that is not the club's fault. I have my 2 kids in travel (CCL) and 1 in dance (NOT CCL OR NCSL hahaha). The struggles of having multiple kids is beauty and struggles of parenting, thank god for carpools!

Not PP: That makes sense. I was wondering why my daughter's CCL2 group played up with older player groups sometimes - must have been a non-CCL2 League.
