If we're going to be stuck with a know-it-all law professor, I'd take Obama over Cheh any day!

Yes, indeed!

He would need to move.

We can move the boundary for him.

Or he could replace Jack Evans. That might be an even bigger upgrade.

Cheh a know it all who always knows what is best for you. She doesn't like to be challenged about her decisions Her political temrament is closer to that of a Politburo member in some Iron Curtain country, than that of an elected council member in an American city.

I would support an inanimate carbon rod.

No idea.

What I know is that she's better than 99% of the politicians we have in the city.

Here's a first: she listens to her constituents.

Uh, no. Professor Cheh does not listen to her constituents. In fact, she's doesn't much listen to anyone.

I hope Matt Frumin runs. I would vote for him in a second. Regarding, his Eaton comments, I think he was just being practical. Deal is massively overcrowded. There was no choice but to cut out schools. Eaton is in Cleveland Park which is a white upperclass neighborhood. You will never get above 50% inboundary at Eaton as many wealthy people in Cleveland Park will send their kids to private regardless of how good Eaton or Hardy is. I agree that he could have framed his position more delicately.

You are wrong about never getting above 50% IB. It hit 50% last year. This year's PK and K classes are even more heavily IB. I suspect it will be at 54-56% IB this year and moreso the following year as they could have filled a 3rd PK4 class and more with the number of IB families that were initially waitlisted this year.

Disagree. She listens. You may disagree with her, but it is also likely that for every one of your voices, she has head 50 from the other side.

Case in point, outdoor pool in the Ward.

She didn't really listen about the Lab School building either. Her constituents have been screaming "crowded schools" at her, and she hears, "Let me give a building to the private Lab School without allowing public comment or any other bidders."
