I thought both the blue coat and the inauguration gown were gorgeous. Melania looked stunning the entire day and night. Good for her. I feel for her because she's clearly very shy and doesn't enjoy the limelight. But she is one stunning woman, as is Ivanka.

ITA. I was so depressed after watching the inauguration yesterday that I googled a bunch of interviews with Melania & Ivanka to see what they're about and was pretty impressed with both of them. She seems totally independent, smart enough, engaged, and like she speaks her mind to Trump. I liked her and I can't stand him.

Why should anyone lighten up when Michelle was crucified for wearing sleeveless dresses? Melanie will get the same respect and leniency Michelle did. Which is none.

Michelle was criticized primarily for wearing sleeveless to the State of the Union address. Fwiw, I thought Mrs. Pence looked tacky showing her bare arms at the luncheon.

Melania's dress was rather blah, but it wasn't inappropriate for a ball. TBH, it was hard to notice any of the other women when Ivanka was in the frame.
