What to do with car when DH is not around. I'm helpless.

I had to get a headlight replaced last week. I took it in and 15 minutes later it was done. Really not a big deal. You've probably spent more time posting about it than it would take to just do it.

I can't be bothered with the details of simple fixes like replacing a dead headlamp bulb. Usually, my DH will do simple stuff like this, or he wil deal with the mechanic. I am too busy and can't be bothered. I just want it taken care of. However, as usual, DH travels and sh*t starts to go wrong with the car and he is useless helping me over the phone.

Grow up and become an adult.

You sound real useless OP. How did your husband draw this short straw?

I don't like his cheap ass hooptie. He bought it against my wishes two years ago! Now, I have to deal with its sucky issues when he is gone.

So, he drives a less expensive but practical car that works better for getting your family around.

You drive an expensive but impractical car for kids, have to use his, have no idea how to take care of basic car maintenance and whine and bitch and moan when he isn't around to take care of it for you. And you complain about his car but not yours.

You gotta be great in the sack, because otherwise, I'm not sure why he stays with you.

OP, how's the sex?

Ugh it's annoying op, isn't it? Thankfully my dad is helpful when my husband is out of town. I do a lot that probably gets taken for granted and I definitely take it for granted that my husband does so many things (bills, car stuff etc). So he was out of town last month and I had 2 alerts pop up on the car and I happened to visit my dad that week and he took care of it for me. So if your dad is close by you could try asking him. My dad is always very understanding and helpful.
