Those things would only matter if your last name is Clinton.

It does not count - he has a penis... and actual documents that were rated secret or above were shared - not a hypothetical on a server that was never hacked.

doug stafford - Rand Paul ex COS: "Hillary clinton - lock her up. Petraues- gives cabinet position"

lol.

safe to say, Rand might not vote for Petraeus potentially killing him the chance to get confirmed.

I would call Paula Broadwell under oath and ask lots of questions about access to Petraeus, unauthorized receipt of classified material and how Petraeus traded classified info and access for an ongoing sexual relationship. I'd also ask a lot of questions about how women in the Department of State could rely on a leader who slept with media to protect them from sexual harrassment on the job.
Don't even go there when you elected a thrice married philanderer.
...amongst other harrassment towards women.

The democratic women of the Senate didn't elect a thrice married philanderer. Any one of them would have enough credibility to challenge Petraeus on his revelation of top secret info. If Petraeus is so easily swayed by sex, why should he be trusted with secrets? If Ryan called for HRC not to be given security briefings because of her mishandling of classified info, why does the same not apply to Petraeus? Petraeus was in danger of a felony charge until he managed to negotiate down to misdemeanor. Broadwell didn't have security clearance appropriate for the material but was not charged because the Administration bought her argument that she was a registered journalist and as such had 1st Amndmt protections.

The real question is if Petrasus wants a job with Trump so bad that he is willing to open il this old wound for himself and his family.

I don't know him personally, so can't judge.

+1 Just can't imagine how people can be so driven to be in power than their family comes second.

There are scores of video interviews, but just as a foundational reality check

So where are the Clinton haters vis a vis the seriousness of the breech?

I don't think Trump should choose Petraeus--but the secret documents he shared (his diaries) were with a military officer with a TS (probably above) clearance.

HRC had lots of classified information on an unsecured server.

Yes, Petraeus is guilty--but so is HRC. Ultimately, her decision put us at greater risk.

Wait, I though Clinton did have a penis.

Last time I checked, Hillary wasn't coming toi the White House or being appointed for something. Stop deflecting back to Hillary. She is old news.

Really? Old news? I thought she was pushing for a recount with Jill.

Recount won't mean squat.

Latest I heard is that Petraeus will need permission from his probation officer if he wants to travel outside the country.

And this is the person Trump is seriously considering for SoS?

Yes he was actually found guilty! HRC was not but should have been. Neither should be anywhere near classified information ever again! This was part of the reason I voted for Trump and now he wants to put another person who can't handle classified information in charge of State- WTF?? How can you all be ok with this?

Really hoping it's just smoke and mirrors to make Romney sweat a little.

Hillary was not charged with anything. Unless you work for the FBI or the Department of Justice, your opinion doesn't matter. But thanks for voting for the bozo who is a million times more reckless than Hillary. I hope to God he does appoint Petraeus, just so we can see how disgustingly hypocritical he is. Wall Street Bad! Drain the Swamp!
