I had heard of the book before but didn't know anything about the author'/ personal life. She seems like someone who is in love with the drama which is not cute for a 40-50 something year old.

Honestly, I commend her for being honest with herself about not wanting to have children. I don't have a lot to say about her personal life and relationships other than I can't imagine this is a good situation to bring kids into.

Kids would force Liz to pull her head out of her butt and focus on someone besides Liz and how Liz is feeling. But at least she does recognize that she's not willing to do that.

Disagree- have you been to the family drama forum?! You would think 1 in 5 people are running around with NPD or something! There are people who don't snap out of their intense need to focus on themselves just because they have kids- best they don't!
