I like it.

For reasons of avoiding drama, we want to avoid asking our families for name feedback. So, what does DCUM think - good or not?

Porsche is the car. Portia is a ngame in two plsys of Shakespeare--Julius Caesar (wife of Brutus) and Merchant of Venice.

I think it is a beautiful and light name. The Shakespearean reference really adds to it allure. Unique and gorgeous.

Well, it's Shakespearean, of course! The Merchant of Venice, one of my favorite plays, since it hinges on the heroine outwitting all these stuffy old men.

But since I'm French, Portia sounds also like the French pronunciation of porcine, so I'm not naming my daughter that

The schoolyard would have a field day with that. Portia the Pig. Awesome.
