Falls Church mosque - Route 7

I agree with you OP and think the same thing every time I drive by there.

You don't think local cops are doing surveillance? Did you not just see Dallas happen? What are you thinking to say local cops aren't doing surveillance.

How much do you suppose the officers pick up from random parishioners, probably speaking multiple tongues, just walking back to their cars after services?

Bnai Israel in Rockville has cops outside all the time. They both park in front of the front doors as security and help direct traffic so people trying to turn left into the lot don't gridlock one side of Montrose. I've also seen them ticket people who drove past an MCPS bus with its red lights flashing.

If I saw cops at a mosque in the current climate, I'd assume it had received threats and they were protecting it.

12:27 you are foolish. How do you think police are assigned to this task? Because they speak the languages. Do you think they just hang around at the traffic light. Unlikely.

I'd assume they were protecting and conducting surveillance.

Now that I've started to read more about mosques and Muslim radicalization, I've learned about this mosque's history.

It's pretty scary.

Anwar al-Awlaki was an iman there.

Wow. That's very disturbing to read. I drive by there often..never knew that though. Scary.

This is the local mosque that Obama ordered the DOJ to ignore. The jihadis from the mosque will perpetrate the next terrorist act in this area.

I don't see praying to God many a times a day as a sign of goodness - it seems a bit fanatical to me. I believe in prayer and goodness, but it doesn't manifest itself in assembling at a church/mosque multiple times per day. How do you work and support your family if you are praying multiple times a day in a church or mosque? Which productive jobs support leaving work to pray multiple times per day?

Driving cabs. Go to Dawson Terrace Park in Arlington and you will see the cabbies gather there to wash their feet with water from the water fountains and to pray. They also gather at the Starbucks at Bailey's Crossroads -- commonly called the ISIS Starbucks.

Between 7 Corners Shopping Center and the Culmore Shopping Center. It is hidden behind a copse of trees and you cannot get very close to it. Security is very tight.

Sorry, I would rather have a Hispanic construction worker whistle at me at the 7-11 than have a crazed terrorist drive a bomb laden car into my path.

You can bet fairfax county has automatic license plate recognition software working on that mosque.

We need to focus limited resources on the highest risk. Police need to stop wasting resources on arresting drug addicts and focus on high risk items.

Have you any proof?

Tell you what; you go hang out there next Friday - really, just lurk, ask questions, you know? - and report back to us.
