It is. His face shape is just like his moms. I wonder why he does not show more affinity/interest in both of his heritages. That has always made me curious - not critical - just curious. |

Don't you remember his trip to Ireland? Also, he had to explore his African heritage because he was raised by his white mom and grandparents, so he already knows about his white heritage. My kids are biracial and every white person we know, including the ones who know they have a white parent, refers to them as African American only. My kids now identify as African American, not because of what they were taught at home, but because of how our society labels them. They love both their parents, but our country, in large part, denies them half of their heritage because of the one drop rule. |
