I did not understand. Are you suggesting we stop immigration from all countries, countries which are in this chart or something else?

To be honest, I would be fine with a very strict immigration ban temporarily. Very strict.
Until we get illegal immigration in check and determine a way to accurately and completely vet those coming in.....
And, maybe a more lengthy immigration ban from areas in which ISIS has a stronghold (or any other country where terrorists, of whatever stripe, are actively recruiting and killing citizens).
And, I think we need to reconsider the VISA waiver program. Too many terrorists have made their way into Europe.

I am British. My parents visit twice a year. We are Christian/ Jewish, for what that is worth. Are you going to ban them from coming here? For how long? If it is forever, then I am happy to take my American wife and children and move back to the UK. And you can say goodbye to your tourism industry and a good chunk of your trade and industry. And, to be honest, it will do almost nothing to make you safer, since the vast majority of your terrorists are home grown.

They may be home grown but the key sentence is their parents were immigrants or refugees from countries that have many terrorists.

MOST of the terrorists in France, Brussels, Orlando, LA, and Boston were second generation terrorists which means even if their parents were vetted as being okay- their children who are second generation ate becoming radicalized and terrorists. It is a trend and studies and polls show that the second generation Muslims in Europe support Isis and sharia law in very high percentages. This is scary. Why would we want to take a chance of having this trend happen here?

Good luck moving back. Friends there say it has changed so much it is barely recognizable. According to this article 25% of UK Muslims support sharia law.

I was just reading this week (can't remember where I saw the article), that it is the 2nd generation immigrants that are most ripe for radicalization. The first generation (or original immigrants) has a firm identity rooted in their country of origin. The third generation is Americanized completely, or at least enough to fit in. It is the send who is caught between two worlds and less likely to feel they belong in the US.

Government failed to watch someone that they knew was dangerous - dropped him off the list, despite warning by gun store owner just weeks before. The problem is not guns. It's liberal government, too politically correct to admit where the problem lies
