Didn't do the Albuquerque Festival, but I have ridden in a balloon. Scary as hell but awesome - do it!

Yes, riding in a hot air balloon was definitely a bucket list item for me. But when we were up in the air, I was silently freaking out every time I looked down. Of course, looking across the horizon was totally incredible.

If you have any desire to go in a balloon, definitely do it!

My parents lived in Zambia and travelled all over Africa. Would love to visit. Glacier NP is one of my favs. Been to Crete, would love to hike Macchu Piccu. Of course Galapagos, and Chili would be cool, esp Valparaiso. I would love to go back to London.

I have always been obsessed with islands. I would love to visit St Helena and Ascension Island, as well as Ile de la reunion in the Indian Ocean.

Zion/Utah within the next few years

Prague within the next 7 years

Thailand and Vietnam within 10 years.

Been there, done that. Prague was a waste of time.

Ditto prague. Been there 3 times. Go to Burma, [b]Thailand is just full of tourists.

There are areas that are less touristy, you just have to know where to go. I love Thailand, been there many times.

Kind of a big country.

+3 home of George Orwell. Would like to see the former British colony.

Did you mean Burma? Because Thailand was never colonized. In fact, it is the only country in SEA that wasn't.

Not the PP but yes, that poster was talking about Burma, as was a previous poster up thread. Check out the first bolded sentence.

I just want to see lots of white sand, clear blue water. As many Caribbean islands as possible. Some Florida thrown in too for cost effectiveness. If my husband would agree, I'd do a week at Christmas, a week at Spring Break, and a week in the summer. Never gets old for me. Sitting under a palapa. I even love the word. Palapa.

That word makes me laugh, too.

Martinique is on my list - home of Franz Fanon - as well as Guadeloupe. I have too many places I want to visit.

Amazing experience. Do it someplace exotic!

New Orleans
Turks and Caicos
Grenada
Cabos
Napa
Greece
Paris
Spain

Obviously can't do it all, but I'd like to do at least 3 in the next five years. Especially, before we're bound by school holiday schedules.

Done most of these, and I found NOLA overrated and Greece underrated. The Cycladic Islands are otherworldly.

I really want to go to Siem Reap. The temples look gorgeous, food sounds amazing and the hotels there are so beautiful and cheap! Once my kids are old enough to make the long trek I'd love to go.

Great place.

Tell your kids to be careful with the happy pizza though...
