Broke my leg-what should I watch on Netflix/Amazon Prime?

West Wing leaves Netflix at the end of December - SO GOOD. I'm rewatching it for the fourth time.

Man in high castle
For laughs: under the dome. Completely hilarious in a train wreck way.
Someone on here suggested the 100 and I'm hooked.

Yes the 100

Also, Battlestar Galactica if that's your kind of thing. It is masterful.

First couple of seasons were great. Then it jumped the shark (and kicked and beat on the shark too) and was awful. I stuck it out through all the seasons hoping it would get better. It never did.

Boardwalk Empire - same people who made Sopranos what it was. High quality show all the way around.
Luther - amazing BBC series with Idris Elba
The Americans - Russian spies living as a married couple in 80s washington.

I also recommend The Wire and The Sopranos but, as someone who binge watched both shows in the last couple of years, I'd say both shows can easily put a cloud over your head. Sopranos, especially, always put me in a dark mood. It really puts some of the most base aspects of human nature out there.
